I went to ClixSense and visualized one micro ad, then I went to Tasks section and got this message:
The reset time resets the guaranteed standard ads.
Does it reset the other ads also??
And to what extent is the purpose of reset time?</fieldset>
Ads do NOT "reset" on ClixSense. And there is no ad "reset time". Everyday at 00:00 hrs Server Time (EST), you get your Guaranteed ads. And those Guaranteed ads may or may not be self-sponsored by ClixSense.

Here is what Joao wrote in a Support ticket.
<fieldset style="text-align:left;border:1px solid #C5C5A1;margin:3px 0 3px 15px;padding:7px;color:#000;font-weight:normal;font-size:100%;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none"><legend>Quote:</legend>Ad Credits won't reset like bux sites do. If you assign 100,000 credits then that's how many unique clicks you will receive. I think that's a big advantage to the bux model, and not many people realize that. But if you make a new credits assignment then this new assignment will be independent from the first, meaning the people that clicked on the first assignment will be able to click on the second again. So, clicks are unique per assignment, not necessarily per advert.</fieldset>
So you get new ads only when advertisers purchase them or assign clicks to an existing ad.

And regarding the distribution of Micro ads (since they have no filter) : Micro ads are distributed evenly to the users that are signed in or using the toolbar. Giving priority to the users that haven't clicked on the day yet... and of course to the ones that haven't seen that ad yet.

No. of Ads » Post #4

Not too sure what you mean about a 'reset time'.

There's 24 hours in a day. I know the cron is running per 24 hours in this process.
At midnight/cron run, I clicked 7 ads in the new day.
This morning when I logged in, I clicked 7 more ads.
Thus far, I have clicked a total of 14 ads.

Ads for the most part, are entered when an advertiser purchases the ad.
It is submitted for review first if it is an advertiser that has not advertised that particular ad before.
That's why it's important to keep an eye out for ads to click thru out the day.
